Pour Over Method

The pour-over method is a popular brewing technique that allows for a greater control over the brewing time and temperature. Start by heating your water to just below boiling. Place a filter in your dripper and rinse it with hot water. Add your ground coffee into the filter, then slowly pour the hot water in a circular motion, allowing the coffee to bloom before continuing. This method creates a clean and flavorful cup!

French Press

The French press is a classic method that extracts oils and flavor from the coffee grounds. Coarsely grind your coffee and add it to the French press. Pour in hot water and let it steep for about four minutes. After steeping, press the plunger down slowly to separate the grounds from the coffee. This method yields a rich and full-bodied coffee experience.

Aeropress

The Aeropress is known for its versatility and ability to brew strong coffee quickly. Begin by adding coffee grounds to the filter and placing it in the chamber. Add hot water and stir briefly. After a minute, press down the plunger gently to extract the coffee. The result is a smooth and concentrated brew that you can enjoy black or with added milk.

Cold Brew

For cold brew, coarsely grind your coffee and combine it with cold water in a jar. Let it steep for 12-24 hours in the fridge. After steeping, strain through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter. Cold brew is less acidic and can be enjoyed straight or diluted with milk or water, making it refreshing on a hot day.
